Hanna is a Massachusetts native whose approach to massage therapy is both holistic and multi-disciplinary. She received her massage training at The Cortiva Institute in Watertown, beginning her career in 2013. Since becoming certified in Orthopedic Massage in June 2017, her bodywork has become increasingly more focused on identifying and releasing areas of musculoskeletal restriction. She believes that an effective massage should address specific points of adhesion while also providing more systemic tension relief. She utilizes a variety of broad and pinpointed techniques in order to create space for connective tissue to readjust. Hanna found her way into practicing therapeutic massage after many years of exposure within the health and wellness industry, staffing the front desk at a Sports Chiropractor's office as well as two yoga studios. She firmly believes that the integration of therapeutic bodywork into a conscious lifestyle can be tremendously supportive to the well-being of any individual! Hanna attended Brandeis University, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Ethnomusicology, currently utilizing this passion to curate a variety of soothing music during massage sessions.
